About

Built to open doors.

An open Bible on a dark wooden table

Our story // est. 2011

Copperline began in 2011 in a rented warehouse on Foundry Street with sixty chairs, a borrowed sound system and a pastor who had never planned to start anything. We only wanted to find out whether a church could be big enough to matter and close enough to know your name.

Fifteen years and five campuses later the answer is still being written. The rooms are bigger and the production is better, but the shape has not changed. We worship loud, open the Bible, tell the truth about what is hard and send people out to serve the city we live in.

We do not think a church is a show or a brand. It is a people on a mission, and the doors stay open.

What we hold to.

  • Open doors
  • Honest rooms
  • Loud worship
  • Everyday courage
  • A city, not a crowd

What we believe

The short version.

The Bible

We believe the Bible is God's word, our final authority for what we believe and how we live.

Jesus

We believe Jesus is fully God and fully man, that he died for our sins, rose bodily and will return.

Grace

We believe we are saved by grace through faith, not by anything we do.

The Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit lives in every believer, makes us more like Jesus and equips the church.

The church

We believe the local church is God's plan for his people: baptism, communion, community and mission.

Hope

We believe God is making all things new and that we get to live that hope now.

Our team

The people.

Real pastors with real phones. Say hello.

Daniel Brooks

Lead pastor

Planted Copperline in a rented warehouse in 2011. Preaches from one passage at a time and believes a big church should still feel like a front porch.
